How to Cook Pork Sinigang

Ingredients:

Before we proceed to the step-by-step guide on how to cook pork sinigang, let's first prepare the ingredients:

- 5 cups water
- 1 pc. onion, chopped
- 0.5 kg pork spareribs, cut into serving pieces
- 2 pcs. tomatoes, quartered
- 1 pc. finger chili
- 0.5 cup radish, sliced
- 0.5 cup okra, sliced
- 0.5 cup sitaw (string beans), cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 sachet Sinigang Sampalok With Gabi Mix
- 1 cup kangkong (water spinach), trimmed

Step 1: Boil the Pork

In a pot, add 5 cups of water and let it boil. Add the pork spareribs and let it simmer for around 30 minutes or until the pork is tender.

Step 2: Add Onions and Tomatoes

After the pork is tender, add onions and tomatoes to the pot and let it simmer for around 5 minutes until the tomatoes are soft. Stir occasionally.

Step 3: Add the Sinigang Mix

Next, add the Sinigang Sampalok with Gabi Mix into the pot and stir until it dissolves. Add the finger chili, radish, and okra and let it simmer for another 5 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.

Step 4: Add the Kangkong and String Beans

Finally, add the kangkong and string beans to the pot and let it cook for another 3 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
